Bentonville Ar Dog Park (Furry Friend Hangouts)

A dog park like Bentonville AR Dog Park is a piece of land, usually in an urban area, set aside for people to take their dogs when they want them to run off-leash.

Why are dog parks so popular? The reason must be something deeper than simply giving dogs a place to run around–there are plenty of empty fields for that.

Then why are dog parks so popular? Bob Barker probably never thought his career-capping plea to raise money for animal spay and neuter programs would lead to the creation of thousands of public dog parks.

These parks are fenced areas where dogs can legally run off their leashes and play with other dogs. They exist in most major cities and can be found at the center of many suburban developments.

It seems hard to believe that such an obviously successful idea would have trouble getting started, but that’s precisely what happened when a group of Seattle dog lovers attempted to create the city’s first dog park in the late ‘80s. Residents opposed to it argued that it was a waste of money, a nuisance, and even a potential danger to children.

Opponents were so vocal and numerous that the park’s supporters were intimidated into canceling their plans.

Thankfully, however, the idea persevered, and most cities have allocated funds for building dog parks. Bentonville has committed to building a dog park in each quadrant of the city.

Listed below, you’ll find four parks below.

Bentonville Bark Park is completely finished and open, Osage Bark Park is in phase 2 of development and is open, Creekside Park has just opened and Orchards Park Bark Park is open and finished.
